The Cedar Lee streetscape is going to get a face lift. Plans have been developed through a 2008 grant awarded by NOACA and the Cedar Lee SID is hosting a workshop at the Heights Public Library (2345 Lee Rd) to inform you about the plans and invite public input. If you are able to attend please do….and please speak up about the bike infrastructure you would like to see.
Here are my thoughts…Between Corydon and Cedar, considering the on-street parking, I would like to see properly placed shared lane markings through the business district. Perhaps a simple shoulder stripe North of Cedar would suffice, similar to the shoulder stripe south of the Cedar Lee District. What would you like to see?
There are 3 workshop sessions offered; 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Visit cedarlee.org for more information on Thursday’s meeting.
